About
Sarai Mock (1996) grew up in Amsterdam. She obtained an LLB in international and European law at the University of Groningen. Afterwards, she studied Public International Law at the University of Amsterdam where she graduated cum laude. She also studied for one semester at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Sarai has experience as a litigation lawyer at a renowned law firm in Amsterdam. Prior to that, she worked as a university lecturer at Tilburg University and as a project officer at the Dutch Section of the International Commission of Jurists. Additionally, she gained extensive experience as a paralegal at the Competition & Regulatory department of a major law firm in Amsterdam.

Effective writing begins with thorough research. Over the years, I’ve developed strong research skills that underpin both my legal and creative work, ensuring depth, accuracy, and clarity.

Prior experience with managing both short-term and long-term projects. Trained in strategic thinking, ‘out of the box’-approach, and implementation of practical solutions.
Public speaking
Trained in public speaking through various programs. I’ve also served as a moot court lecturer, teaching students about presentation and legal argumentation skills. Currently also participating in poetry performances

Throughout my career I gained extensive experience in writing legal advice, concise memos and legal briefs in various contentious cases. Alongside my legal work, I also engage in creative writing, including poetry and editorial work.

I have extensive experience in conducting legal research, specializing in drafting memos, briefs, and providing strategic legal advice. Experienced with a creative approach to legal problem-solving, utilizing a wide range of legal sources.
Tutoring
Experienced with both verbal and written tutoring in the legal field. Additionally, I have conducted editorial work for academic and literary texts.
Project management
I’ve attended various seminars that concern project management and gained practical experience through my work as a project officer. Moreover, working on complex, cross-border litigation strengthened my organizational and coordination skills.
